Autor At the invitation of the European Federation of Journalists and the International Federation of Actors, the Trade Union of Media of Montenegro took part in a two-day workshop titled “Strengthening trade unions in the media, arts and entertainment sectors in addressing the challenges of freelancers, artificial intelligence and sectoral changes”, held in Warsaw.
The event focused on improving collective bargaining for freelancers and the self-employed, defining minimum fees, as well as examining the impact of generative artificial intelligence on work in the media, arts and entertainment sectors. It also addressed trade union strategies for organising non-standard workers and adapting to ongoing changes in the labour market.
