On October 28, the Swedish media institute FOJO and the Trade Union of Media of Montenegro organized the conference “Journalism in challenging times: Obstacles to democracy”.
The goal of the conference was to draw attention to the safety and security of journalists in a wider context that includes, in addition to physical security, legal, digital and psychological security.
The importance of developing guidelines for risk assessments for the media profession was emphasized, as well as the adequate response of all social actors to challenges for the safety of media employees.
