By The one-year project was supported by the Balkan Trust for Democracy Fund and aims to work in several fields of media freedom. Partners in this project are colleagues from the NGO Civic Alliance. One part of the project is monitoring the implementation (and advocating for new) legal solutions in the field of media; a series of meetings with decision makers are planned in order to review the best solutions for media policies.
One part of the project is dedicated to monitoring court cases of attacks on journalists as well as monitoring the application of ethical principles in media coverage of risk groups. The project also aims to raise awareness of media freedoms and the importance of respecting ethical reporting, which is why the campaign was designed.
