The Trade Union of Media of Montenegro organized the conference “Media Freedom – Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”.
The conference was an opportunity to analyze the current state of media freedom in Montenegro and the region, as well as to point out the biggest problems faced by the media and media workers.
The conference was organized within the project “Support to Media Freedom and Journalistic Standards”, which was supported by the Balkan Trust for Democracy and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Belgrade.
Also, one of the panels was dedicated to the presentation of the report Indicators of the level of media freedoms and security of journalists 2020 for Montenegro. Colleagues from Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina also had the opportunity to present the most important results. The SafeJournalists.net project was supported by the European Commission.
