By The Third Assembly of the Trade Union of Media of Montenegro in September
Trade Union of Media of Montenegro (SMCG) will organize the Third Assembly on Friday, 7 September, when, among other things, will be elected a new president of this branch union.
The Assembly will be organized at the EU Info Center starting at 11 am. The agenda will include the adoption of a work report of the Main, Supervisory and Statutory Board of the Trade Union of Media of Montenegro, as well as the adoption of amendments to the SMCG Statute.
In accordance with the Decision of the Main Board, the Assembly will have 36 delegates.
Also, it is planned that the delegates elect a president, a member of the Main Board from among the individual members, as well as members of the Supervisory and Statutory Board who will perform this function in the next four-year term. The mandates of the members of the Main Board, coming from trade union organizations that are members of SMCG, will be verified.
Trade Union of Media of Montenegro was founded on 13 April 2013 in Podgorica as a branch union of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro. After 18 months, another SMCG assembly was held where the current leadership of the SMCG was elected.
As trade union organizations have been notified earlier, candidates for the president of the SMCG can be nominated by September 1.
