By The Vice President of the Trade Union of Media of Montenegro (TUMM), Marijana Camović Veličković, and Project Manager Dražen Đurašković met yesterday with the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Montenegro, Caroline Tissot, and the UN Human Rights Adviser in Montenegro, Anjet Lanting.
During the meeting, TUMM representatives presented the Union’s mission and activities and highlighted the key challenges related to protecting and improving the labour rights of media workers, as well as their socio-economic status. The discussion also covered overall progress and remaining challenges in the area of media freedom, along with opportunities for future cooperation and UN support in areas relevant to the work and activities of the Trade Union of Media of Montenegro.
